This past year and just flown by and I'm coming up to my first blog anniversary. Who would have thought about a year ago I sat down and decided to start a blog. So much has come of it too..
I've found somewhere I can write and express my feelings and concerns without being judged and the amazing friends I've made on the way by meeting them at some amazing events. That I will cherish. But for now Christmas, can't believe its already over.
I will admit that it never really felt like Christmas too me and perhaps that was because for me I was working the day before and 2 days later. No offence to anybody reading this but why would you want to send you children into nursery on Christmas Eve, I understand if your working but if you are at home why not have them with you?? I'd rather laze about in my Jim jams watching Christmas movies, baking and getting in the spirit but nope I was in work - oh well.
Although it was Christmas we all didn't get up till nearly 8am, not that late but for me its a lay-in and I could not wait too see Kai's face. After all last Christmas is was still a tiny bubba at 4 months old. But he really wasn't bothered, Kels on the other hand was extremely excited to see what Santa had bought her. Lets just say she was happy with everything and Kai didn't really care. He had a little tantrum - yes he does them now - because he wanted to open one of Kels's presents rather than his own. I got some Yankee candles from the in-laws, some CD's of my mum and a beautiful new bag from the husband while I got him a little book which is called "Don'ts for Husbands" - hope he reads it. And some other bits and bobs.
Kai got some clothes and toy cars to play with while Kels also got some clothes and her favorite present of all a camera.
We were joined later by the husbands parents for dinner and when the children went to bed and they left I had a nice little drink to myself while watching Eastenders. And now its all over I'm already thinking of next year. How we are going to bring in and start our own traditions and what people could possibly buy me so I'm ready with an answer. After all its good to be prepared. So here are a few pictures of our Christmas day.

Opening presents got a bit too much for Kai.
Cuddles with my boy on Xmas day.
Just a few of the pictures that were taken and to be honest not much was taken as we were too busy enjoying the celebrations and playing with the children's new toys. Kai was ill over Christmas though and was sick a few times but his a lot better now.
Did you have a wonderful Christmas? Hope your festive wishes came true, I for one is now looking forward to next year.

Glad you all had a good Christmas. I think it was all a bit much for Dylan as well as he got so much attention and so many presents but I am looking forward to next year when he will be a bit more aware! xx
